Ponders End Wargaming Club

Volume 2, Issue 5 - May 2002

Editorial

T-shirts.Get your lovely T-shirts. Yes that's right folks, we at the club are branching out into the world of high fashion and our must-have item of clothing this season is the PEWC T-shirt.

Just £10 gets you the shirt, emblazoned on the breast with the club's logo. Or for those of you who have money to burn, then may we point out that for just a measly £3 more (that's a staggeringly cheap £13) you can have your name on the sleeve. To be the envy of all your friends just ask one of our highly trained staff for details.

OK, enough with the adverts, this month we have the Fantasy campaign for you to participate in, but next month is pretty much open for you to play anything you want or to challenge who you want.

If you do want to run anything in the coming months , please don't hesitate to come forward. Even if you're only doing it to prove that somebody actually reads this thing & I'm not totally wasting my time here.

Broadsword 2002

Broadsword 2002 takes place on Sunday June 2nd at The Assembly Hall, Walthamstow, between 10:30a.m. and 5 p.m. The club will be in attendance running our now infamous Gauntlet game, feel free to come along.

Warhammer Fantasy

The Battle for Freemantle begins this month, 2,999pts per force should result in some pretty bloody encounters. On Saturday 25th we will be running a large Battle day for the campaign with the following Tuesday being a grudge match evening

Warhammer 40,000

The Defence of Belladronius II has now finished, everybody seemed to enjoy themselves, thanks to Ian for running the campaign. As for the final results, keep an eye out, as the final instalment of the Imperial News will be appearing very soon to keep everyone abreast of the outcome.
