Volume 2, Issue 1 - January 2002
EDITORALHello and welcome to another year of toy soldiers, infallible battle strategies and outrageous dice rolls. We hope you all had an enjoyable Christmas and New Year, and that you have some nice new, shiny toys. As we begin this new year, there are a couple of important issues to make you all aware of:
The main evening 40k/Fantasy split will continue as follows:
|
WARHAMMERAs well as that, Steve is interested in running an Albion based Mordheim game to be played as the main games finish. For further information on both of the above please see Steve. |
WARHAMMER 40,000If you are interested in participating, please see Steve for further information. |
PBI 2This WWII game will continue to be run by Shaun on a weekly basis, with the Campaign Day running on Saturday 2nd March. Please feel free to sit in & watch a game if you have the chance, as it is quite easy to pick up. |
WARMASTER |
WEEKEND EVENTS Other than the PBI 2 campaign day, we are also looking to
run more regular campaign days throughout the coming year,
hopefully up to every 2 months for as many systems as we have
interest for. |
NEW SCENERY The club has recently spent a substantial amount on new
scenery, which will very soon be in use. At the same time
we will be improving the scenery storage to protect our investment. |
LAST WORDSIf you want to keep up with the goings on in the club on a weekly basis, check out the club's website at: http://www.pewc.co.uk. The site contains more detailed information on upcoming events, such as the PBI 2 campaign day, as well as the rules that are used for the clubs tournaments & leagues. If you have anything you'd like to see in the newsletter or have any comments or suggestions you'd like to make, either see Jonathan on a Tuesday night on e-mail them to undead_jon@yahoo.co.uk |
