Confrontation
In confrontation, you take command of a small warband of fighters and fight skirmishes across the continent of Aarklash.
Play any one of the current thirteen available factions, the mysterious Cynwäll Elves; the twisted clones of the Alchemists of Dirz ; the Griffins of Akklannia, an Empire ruled by strict yet just principles; the Lions of Alahan, the first real human civilization on Aarklash; the nomadic Kelts of Avvagdu; the evil Kelts of the Drune Clan; the tough Dwarves of Tir-Na-Bor; evil & possessed Dwarves Of Mid-Nor; the huge, terrifying Wolfen of Yllia; Devourers of Vile-Tis, the Wolfen’s sworn enemy; Living-Dead of Acheron; Orcs of Bran-O-Kor, once slaves to their creators, the Alchemists of Dirz; or the tricky horde of the Goblins of No-Dan-Kar.
Confrontation is the very first all-in-one miniature game, introducing the innovative concept of a tabletop game using Rackham’s astounding fantasy miniatures and brilliant system of gaming reference cards. It is a simple game system that enables players to simulate skirmishes between rival factions with loads of game-play and fun.
You can play with a small amount of figures, most players start with around 6-12 figures meaning Confrontation is a very cost effective game to play. As time goes by you will build up your warbands into larger forces fighting larger skirmishes using magic and campaign rules.
To start playing all you need to do is buy a blister pack as each blister pack contains the rules! The blister packs also contain a reference card that provides the figures game stats.
Confrontation is enhanced by three supplements:
- Incantation - introducing magic to the Confrontation game - each blister pack includes the magic rules and spell cards.
- Divination - is devoted to faith and expanded magic rules - including new spell types.
- Incarnation - allows characters to evolve performing quests and scenarios, campaign rules.
As players will build up bigger armies, they will be soon able to use Rag’narok rules to simulate bigger conflicts.
