Legend of the Five Rings

Legend of the Five Rings is a set of games set in a fantasy version of feudal Japan, complete with honourable Samurai, mystical Monks, powerful Shugenja (wizards), secretive Ninja, Flesh eating Demons and the occasional Ratling! L5R is primarily an interactive storyline CCG, which means that the players have a lot of power in the storyline of the game, a system which is not in practise in any other game in the market! In the latest edition of the game (called Gold Edition), the splendid Emperor Toturi has been slain and his four heirs, the Four Winds, vie for the throne. The Empire is in turmoil and the Shadowlands have seized this opportunity to extend their reach into the Emerald Empire, which has recently seen the destruction of the capital of the whole empire, Otosan Uchi! Once again Rokugan is threatened and players must take control of their Clans (or even the evil Shadowlands!) in epic battles to decide the future of the Empire.

Currently the most popular CCG at the club, all players are welcome to come down and participate in friendly games one on one or huge multiplayer. Both Open and Gold formats are supported, so both past and present players are more than welcome to come down and decide the fate of their Clans.
