A Warmachine/Hordes Shakspeareanesque Tragedy!!

January - March 2007

At the start of the new year instead of the regular close down of offensive actions , the mightiest of warriors in the iron kingdoms ramp up the hostilities in the hope of gaining a solid foothold in an as yet mainly unchartered wilderness. This recently discovered area has been found to be rich in valuable minerals and ores that would further the wealth of anyone that could control it.

The campaign will be map based with random starting areas for all factions, bonuses and hinderances will become apparent as the weeks progress, so sign up and make like you have a pair!

Format

All players are to select 2000 points of forces to start, they are to be broken down into 3 * 500 point battle groups led by a different warcaster and 500 points of reserves, there are no restrictions on the reserves ie faction limits or numbers , if you want to add 2 winter guard to reserves you can , you will only be able to use them to replace losses in a group of winter guard in a battle group they cannot be stand alone.

Each faction will be allocated resource  points each week after battles with which to replace losses points cost to replace will be double vps for warjacks and warcasters ie a warcaster will cost 10 resource points to replace , troopers cost 1 resource point per troop but 2 for a leader model. map based bonuses will also be available for controlling certain areas.

Damaged warjacks can be repaired by spending resource points on the repair table, each resource point gets a roll on the repair table to see how many points you can repair on your jack.

Each games victory points can also be exchanged for resource points at  a rate of 5 victory points to a single resource point, victory points not spent will be added to the final total at the end of the campaign to determine the overall winner, a reckless general may win the battle but not the war!

"Look to the forums!"

Weekly updates will be posted to the club forums so please check regularly.

Campaign Dates

The campaign will be run over the following six weeks: Tues 16th January, Tues 30th January, Tues 13th February, Tues 27th February, Tues 13th March & Tues 27th March.
