Blood Bowl League: Balls of Iron

Posted on 13 December 2007, by Aaron

“Howdy sports fans and welcome to the Dwarven keep of Zhufbar, venue to the inaugural Golden Granite cup.”

“Sponsored by the good people at Bugman’s Brewery and Golden Granite Dwarven breakfast products, this is one of a kind cup reviving the revered traditions of Dungeon-Bowl.”

“That’s right, each round of the cup is staged a different level of the mines, starting from the pitch lakeside to the deepest depths of the most ancient dungeons!”

“Traps, transporters and the lure of easy money are sure to complicate matters……..so bring on the mayhem!!”

The league will be run as a standard blood-bowl league using the current edition of the living rulebook as available from the GW specialist games website

The league will run over five weeks with the first four weeks being qualification for the top four teams to go through to the Dungeon-Bowl final.

Each week, as the teams descend through Zhufbar’s vaults a number of special plays and items will become available.

The final week will feature a number of four way Dungeon-Bowl games to decide the final standings.

For more information and to register your team please sign up on the club forums and may Nuffle bless your balls!!
