PEWC goes to Games Day 2001

This year the Ponders End Wargaming Club ran a participation game at Games Day UK 2001. If you attended Games Day UK 2001 you may have seen our game, if you were lucky you may have even played in a game or two.

Below are photos of our work, a copy of the rules and a league of the top 10 players including the overall the winner. Just click on any image to view a larger version of it.

Here you will see the stages our board went through before it was finished.

Here is the board after a few coats of paint and some drybrushing, nearly finished...

Of course, having just a board isn't enough, I hear you cry. Well fear not, as below you will see the 4 heroes that will wonder the dank, dark labyrinth:

Here they are again, what a team...or are they? There can only be one winner.



Not only do these brave heroes wonder about the labyrinth, they get to kill some evil monsters as well, those lucky people. Here are the very monsters that are in need of a good slaying or two.

That's enough of the sword fodder, here are the 'Deaths', who can not even be harmed in close combat, the only way to kills these evil spirits is with the use of magical missles.

Now on to the big man, the boss, the guv, the thing that pulls the strings, Minotaur Ed.
